Can you believe it – it’s #wackenwednesday again so we’re taking you back to 1998 for another round of #wackenhistory 🤘
1998 saw another addition to the Wacken Open Air: The second main stage! But the most memorable moment came the morning after the festival when we „found“ a bunch of 🇳🇴 Norwegian fans who missed their bus. Sadly they were way too wasted to have them earn their ride back by helping tearing down the festival 😂 So we gave the Norwegian embassy a call who helped in getting these guys back home safe. Does anybody happen to know about the whereabouts of these brave wasted vikings?
BTW: If you look closely at the poster you’ll find some of todays biggest names in rather small print. Those were the days…
